Evaluation of blending uniformity of redried tobacco strips based on online near-infrared spectroscopy and principal component analysis

  • 摘要: 为了提升打叶复烤工艺中各类配方模块烟叶的质量稳定性和复烤加工成品片烟的掺配均匀性,采用在线近红外光谱仪在复烤机出口测定成品片烟样品的光谱,通过标准正态变换(SNV)结合Savitzky-Golay平滑滤波(SG)和二阶导数(SD)对原始光谱进行预处理,利用多变量统计分析中的主成分分析‒马氏距离(PCA-MD)方法,建立了一种基于在线近红外光谱结合多变量统计分析技术的成品片烟均匀性评价方法,并用该方法评价了不同批次配方模块片烟的掺配均匀性。试验结果表明:(1)各批次成品片烟的掺配均匀性系数在85.93%~87.08%之间,说明采用在线近红外光谱结合PCA-MD的多变量统计分析技术建立成品片烟掺配均匀性评价方法是可行的;(2)各批次成品片烟的掺配均匀性系数都在85.00%以上,说明复烤加工后成品片烟质量的稳定性较好。因此,利用近红外光谱结合多变量统计分析技术可以快速、准确地评价复烤加工片烟的掺配均匀性,为提高打叶复烤过程片烟内在质量过程控制水平提供了技术支撑。

     

    Abstract: In order to promote the quality consistency of various blended tobacco modules and the blending uniformity of redried tobacco strips in threshing and redrying process, a method based on online near-infrared spectroscopy combined with multivariable statistical analysis technology for evaluating the blending uniformity of redried tobacco strips was developed by adopting the principal component analysis-Mahalanobis distance (PCA-MD) method of multivariable statistical analysis method. At the exit of redryer, an online near-infrared spectrometer is used to determine the spectra of redried tobacco strip samples. The original spectral information is preprocessed by Standard Normal Variate transformation (SNV) combined with Savitzky-Golay filt (SG) smoothing and second derivative (SD) preprocessing methods, and the blending uniformity of redried tobacco strips in blended tobacco modules of different batches was evaluated by the developed method. The test results showed that: 1) The blending uniformity coefficient of redried tobacco strips was 85.93%‒87.08%, which indicated that it was feasible to develop the evaluation method for the blending uniformity of redried tobacco strips with online near-infrared spectroscopy and PCA-MD of multivariable statistical analysis technology. 2) The blending uniformity coefficient of redried tobacco strips of each batch was higher than 85.00%, which suggested that the quality consistency of redried tobacco strips was better. Therefore, online near-infrared spectroscopy combined with multivariable statistical analysis technology can quickly and accurately evaluate the blending uniformity of redried tobacco strips, and provides a technical support for improving the process control level of intrinsic quality of redried tobacco strips during threshing and redrying.
