Abstract:
To analyze the status of soil nutrients and its relationship with tobacco quality in the tobacco-planting soil around Qinling areas, descriptive statistics and simple correlation analysis were used to study soil nutrients and their correlation with the chemical components and physical properties of tobacco leaves (C3F). The results showed that: 1) In the areas studied, most tobacco-growing soils were weakly acid to neutral in pH, and the contents of organic matter and alkaline nitrogen were low in general, while available P and K contents were rich. 2) According to the characteristics of soil pH and nutrients, 9 tobacco-planting counties could be divided into 4 categories: Ningqiang, Nanzheng, Pingli and the other 6 counties. Ningqiang had a low pH and high fertility; Nanzheng and Pingli had a relatively lower pH, moderate fertility and a high available P content, however the available K content was high in Nanzheng and low in Pingli. The other 6 counties had an average pH, low fertility and relatively high contents of available P and K. 3) Soil organic matter significantly negatively correlated to the weight per unit leaf area and single leaf weight of tobacco, extremely significantly positively correlated to total sugar and total nitrogen/nicotine ratio and significantly positively correlated to total sugar/nicotine ratio. Alkaline nitrogen extremely significantly negatively correlated to the reduced sugar/total sugar ratio, while significantly positively correlated to total sugar and total nitrogen/nicotine ratio. The other nutrient indicators influenced the chemical components and physical properties of tobacco leaves slightly. Therefore,in the tobacco-planting soil around Qinling areas, the application of nitrogen and organic fertilizer should be paid more attention during tobacco production, and the physical properties and chemical component harmony of tobacco leave could be improved by rational fertilization.
