Abstract:
In order to reduce tobacco degradation, dust contamination and tobacco output fluctuation, the cut tobacco feeding system was improved. Instead of the flappers in the cut tobacco silo, a flexible discharging device was used to discharge tobacco in a more flexible way. The tobacco spreading disc was replaced by a screen disc to separate short strand and dust effectively. The results showed that long strand increased by 1.43 percentage points, short strand, loose end cigarette and dust content decreased by 0.95, 0.11 and 0.25 percentage points, respectively; the standard deviations of individual weight and draw resistance of cigarette reduced by 5 mg and 5.7 Pa, respectively. The purity of cut tobacco is promoted, the breakage of cut tobacco is reduced, cigarette quality and its consistency are improved.
