Abstract:
In order to improve the capability of process management and control in cigarette manufacturing, the methods of parameter quantitative characterization, monovariable parameter assessment and multivariate parameter assessment in cigarette manufacturing process were analyzed on the basis of technical standards and the principle of efficacy coefficient method. Where:1) Parameters could be quantitatively characterized by either deviation or dispersion, deviation reflected the degree that controlled value deviated from technical standard value and dispersion reflected the degree that the actual fluctuation satisfied the requirements of technical standards. 2)The assessment of monovariable parameter was conducted by expected target or extreme value; in the case of expected target, it was assessed by efficacy coefficient method after comprehensive conversion of deviation and dispersion by distance method; however, in the case of extreme value, it was assessed by efficacy coefficient method directly. 3)Multivariable comprehensive assessment applied to process step and batch. For process step assessment, monovariable arithmetic weighted method applied; and for batch process step, geometric weighted method applied. The industrial application showed that the method, by multi-dimensional quantitative analysis, provided an applicable, simple, intuitive and comprehensive assessment of process management and control in cigarette production.
