Abstract:
During the running of conditioning cylinder, moisture exhaust results in high steam and energy consumption and inconsistent tobacco quality, therefore the key parameters influencing exhausted moisture volume and loosening effect were investigated via single factor and orthogonal experiments. The optimal technical parameters at zero moisture exhaust were determined by regression analysis with least square method, and production validation was conducted. The results showed that: 1) Hot air velocity and steam pressure for water ejection were the key parameters influencing exhausted moisture volume. 2) When the ambient temperature was 28 ℃, the optimal technical parameters at zero moisture exhaust were hot air velocity 0.088 m/s, steam application rate 2.74% , steam pressure for water ejection 0.15 MPa. 3) Comparing with traditional method, the CPK values of temperature of and moisture content in output lamina increased obviously, the amount of tobacco cake reduced from 5.3 to 2.1 kg/batch, the total consumption of steam saved by about 58.8%, and the total power of fan decreased from 11.15 to 0.04 kW.
