Abstract:
In order to promote efficiency and reduce blockage, DG flax remover was improved by way of on-site analyzing and theoretical modeling. The formula for calculating the tooth clearance of cross-shaped roller was derived via establishing a theoretical model for the tooth clearance. The analysis results indicated that the blockage were mainly caused by shorter tooth length of cross-shaped roller in the front part of star roller, unreasonable tooth number and lower rotational speed of cross-shaped roller. The cross-shaped roller was modified by adding spikers of 16 mm in length to increase tooth length, increasing tooth number from 4 to 6, and raising the speed from 82 to 94 r/min. The results showed that the blockage of DG flax remover decreased from 0.020 to 0.001 times/batch, or decreased by 95%. The production interruption caused by blockage was basically eliminated. The modification effectively promotes the reliability of equipment running and the processing quality of strips.
