Effects of oyster shell powder on metabolic diversity of microorganism in tobacco rhizosphere soil and incidence of bacterial wilt

  • 摘要: 为揭示牡蛎壳粉等土壤改良剂对烟草根际土壤微生物代谢多样性及烟草青枯病发生的影响,通过田间试验,设置牡蛎壳粉、生石灰、草木灰和对照4个处理,研究了不同土壤改良剂对发病地块土壤pH和微生物群落代谢多样性的影响,以及对烟草青枯病的防控效果。结果表明,牡蛎壳粉可以显著提高土壤pH,增强土壤微生物对碳源的利用程度(AWCD),增加微生物代谢多样性(Shannon指数),同时提高土壤微生物群落内物种的均匀度(McIntosh指数)。主成分分析表明,烟草根际土壤微生物群落利用的主要碳源为羧酸类、氨基酸类和碳水化合物类,但不同土壤改良剂处理土壤微生物碳源利用特征存在差异。牡蛎壳粉处理后的地块烟草青枯病发病率最低,较对照降低43.33%。Pearson相关分析表明,土壤pH与土壤微生物代谢多样性指数呈正相关,而与发病率呈负相关。因此,施用土壤改良剂牡蛎壳粉可提高土壤pH和增加土壤微生物代谢多样性,进而提高土壤微生态环境的稳定性,对烟草青枯病起到较好的防控效果。

     

    Abstract: To evaluate the effects of different soil amendments on the metabolic diversity of microorganisms in tobacco rhizosphere soils and the incidence of tobacco bacterial wilt, field experiments were conducted to study the effects of different soil amendments on soil pH and the metabolic diversity of microorganisms and their control efficiencies on tobacco bacterial wilt. Four treatments were set as following:oyster shell powder, quicklime, plant ash and the control. The results showed that oyster shell powder raised soil pH significantly and increased the carbon source utilization by soil microorganisms(Average well color development, AWCD), the metabolic diversity of microorganisms (Shannon index) and the uniformity of species in soil microbial community (McIntosh index). Principal component analysis indicated that carboxylic acids, amino acids and carbohydrates were the main carbon sources utilized by soil microorganisms, however there were some differences in the carbon source utilization characteristics of microorganisms in soils treated by different soil amendments. The incidence of tobacco bacterial wilt in fields treated by oyster shell powder was the lowest, decreased by 43.33% comparing with that of the control. Pearson correlation analysis suggested that soil pH positively correlated to the metabolic diversity index of soil microorganisms, while negatively correlated to disease incidence. Therefore, the application of oyster shell powder can raise soil pH, promote the metabolic diversity of soil microorganisms and the stability of soil micro-ecology environment, and further achieve better control efficiency on tobacco bacterial wilt.
