Abstract:
The frequent start/stop of elevating belt in tobacco feeder causes high mechanical loss, therefore its speed control was modified. A formula for calculating the tobacco flow of elevating belt was derived from the production process data, the speed control program for the elevating belt was revised on the basis of the formula, and a logic control function was added to the frequency converter of the elevating belt motor. The results showed that the stop frequency, and the duration and frequency of the elevating belt at a high frequency (42 Hz) running decreased by 89.62%, 75.94% and 62.07% per batch, respectively. The frequency of the elevating belt motor was mainly between 26 and 29 Hz. The new control means reduces the stop frequency and alleviates the speed fluctuation of elevating belt, it effectively promotes the control level of constant flow system in tobacco primary processing line.
