Abstract:
In order to investigate the academic influences of findings of informatization research in tobacco industry, the papers in
Tobacco Science & Technology, under the column "Information Technology" during 1976-2016 cited by Web of Science (WOS) database were statistically analyzed with bibliometrics methods, and the citation data were analyzed from two angles:cited papers and citing papers. The results showed that:1) Seven papers were cited, the average cited frequency of each paper was 1.29, most of them focused on tobacco growing monitoring, tobacco leaf grading and purchasing, cigarette manufacturing and quality managing, etc. 2) There were six citing papers presented in five academic journals indexed by SCI or EI covering disciplines of computer system, artificial intelligence, failure detection and diagnosis, control technology, automation system, electronic engineering, communication technology, and others. The above analysis results provide a support for the informatization planning and constructing of tobacco industry.
