Abstract:
In order to develop a method for controlling the draw resistance of cigar based on physical indexes, the relationships of draw resistance with individual cigar weight, circumference, length and moisture content were experimented respectively. Cubic curved surface fitting was used to determine the relationships of draw resistance with individual weight and circumference. The results showed that:1)On the basis of calculation results of correlation coefficient matrix, the correlation coefficients of draw resistance with individual weight, circumference, length, moisture content, and density were 0.760 3, -0.492 9, 0.020 6, 0.055 4, and 0.897 1 respectively; which indicated that individual weight and circumference were the significant factors influencing draw resistance within the tolerance range. 2)The mean error of fitting model was 31.417 6 Pa with the maximum error of 69.802 8 Pa and the minimum error of 3.777 5 Pa.
