Simultaneous determination of moisture content and deliveries of nicotine, glycerol, 1, 2-propylene glycol, glycerol triacetate and menthol in aerosol from heat-not-burn tobacco products by GC-TCD method

  • 摘要: 为同时检测加热不燃烧卷烟气溶胶中的水分、烟碱、丙三醇、1,2-丙二醇、三乙酸甘油酯和薄荷醇,以1,3-丁二醇和正丁醇为内标,建立了气相色谱-热导检测器(GC-TCD)分析方法。采用含两种内标的异丙醇溶液对捕集了加热不燃烧卷烟总粒相物的剑桥滤片振荡萃取40 min,然后进行GC-TCD定量分析,并采用该方法测定了4个加热不燃烧卷烟样品的气溶胶成分。结果表明:①该方法能够同时测定加热不燃烧卷烟气溶胶萃取液中低浓度的烟碱、丙三醇、1,2-丙二醇、三乙酸甘油酯、薄荷醇和高浓度的水分;②水分、烟碱、丙三醇、1,2-丙二醇、三乙酸甘油酯和薄荷醇的定量限分别为0.630、0.031、0.059、0.035、0.046和0.048 mg/支,加标回收率在95.1%~109.2%之间,相对标准偏差在1.77%~4.28%之间。该方法适用于加热不燃烧卷烟气溶胶主要成分的同时定量检测。

     

    Abstract: Using 1, 3-butanediol and n-butanol as internal standards, a gas chromatography method coupled with thermal conductivity detector (GC-TCD) was developed for simultaneously determining moisture, nicotine, glycerol, 1, 2-propylene glycol, glycerol triacetate and menthol deliveries in the aerosol of heat-not-burn tobacco products. The total particulate matter in the aerosol collected by Cambridge filters was extracted with isopropanol solution containing the two internal standards and quantified by the developed GC-TCD method. The aerosol components of four heat-not-burn samples were determined. The results showed that:1) This method could simultaneously determine the concentrations of nicotine, glycerol, 1, 2-propylene glycol, glycerol triacetate, menthol and also the moisture content in the aerosol extracts. 2) The limits of quantitation for moisture, nicotine, glycerol, 1, 2-propylene glycol, glycerol triacetate and menthol were 0.630, 0.031, 0.059, 0.035, 0.046 and 0.048 mg/product, respectively. The spiked recoveries ranged from 95.1% to 109.2% with the relative standard deviations (RSD) of 1.77%-4.28%.
