Abstract:
In order to achieve better vapor-water equilibrium and save heat energy in tobacco processing plant, the steam system for tobacco processing and domestic heating was upgraded. A centralized closed type powerless steam trap system was designed based on the principle of isobaric system to replace the traditional steam traps of the conditioning cylinders, tobacco strip redryer and tobacco stem redryer; and the collected steam condensate water was used for domestic heating to realize steam saving both in production and in domestic heating. A test was carried out on a 12 000 kg/h threshing and redrying line in Bijie Tobacco Processing Factory, the results showed that the average steam consumption per ton of tobacco strips decreased by 16.79%, or 26 200 CNY per 1 000 tons of cured tobacco. This technology provides supports for the cost and energy saving, CO emission reduction of tobacco processing enterprises.
