Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of being blocked by the packet slipping down from the upper layer, the packet input passage in YB618 cartoner was modified. By analyzing the conveying principle of and force exerted on cigarette packets, the top and bottom conveying belts were replaced by a pair of side belt to hold and drive cigarette packets, the belts were driven by the original timing pulley through timing belts and a gearbox. The test was carried out in Dali Cigarette Factory on cigarettes of brand "Hongtashan Hard Classic 100", and the results showed that the emergency stop caused by packet input passage jam decreased by 8.7 times per day and the failure rate reduced by 97.75%. This technology provides a support for promoting the efficiency of cigarette packing line.
