Abstract:
In order to strengthen the collection, application and management of tobacco research data resources, a big data resource system for tobacco scientific research based on business processes was configured via analyzing the research progress of information resource planning at home and abroad and the current situation of the tobacco industry's research data combining with the methods and theories of information resource planning. By referring to the classifications of books, patents and professional data, the system set four levels and ten categories according to the entire life cycle of tobacco and tobacco products, covered all of the data related to research activities in agricultural, industrial and commercial fields of the tobacco industry to achieve the integrity of scientific research data. The system allowed to be updated and upgraded timely as the increase of type and quantity of data without interference with its architecture. This system provides a basic support for the construction and application of big data resources of tobacco scientific research.
