Abstract:
With the improvement of high-throughput plant phenomics technology, huge amounts of plant phenotypic data have been produced, and then the plant phenomics big data has been developed. To understand the development of plant phenomics big data and to offer references for researchers working on plant research and tobacco phenotypes, the development of plant phenomics big data concept was reviewed, and the research status of plant phenomics big data, including data acquisition, data management, data analysis, and application in plant breeding, especially in the usage of fourth generation of intelligent big data, was described. Moreover, the application of plant phenomics data in tobacco breeding was introduced and the future development of researches in that field was proposed.
