Research progress on factors and regulation techniques influencing phenol release in cigarette smoke

  • 摘要: 为使相关科研人员了解降低卷烟烟气苯酚释放量对提高卷烟安全性的重要意义,从烟叶原料产地、品种和部位、物理和外观质量、内在和感官质量,生成苯酚的前体物,原料加工工艺,叶组配方,卷烟纸和滤棒等辅助材料以及选择性吸附减害技术等方面进行了全面总结,分析了与烟气苯酚释放量相关的众多影响因素,并着重从烟叶原料生产、苯酚前体物调控、工业配方和减害技术等几个方面总结了选择性降低烟气苯酚释放量的措施和建议,可为降低烟气苯酚释放量和开发低危害卷烟产品提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Reducing the release of phenol in cigarette smoke is of great significance for reducing toxicant levels. Key factors influencing the phenol release in cigarette smoke were summarized and analyzed, including leaf production, leaf variety, stalk position, physical property, appearance quality, intrinsic quality and sensory quality of tobacco leaves. In addition, phenolic precursors in leaf, tobacco processing technology, tobacco blending, auxiliary materials (cigarette paper and filter, etc.) were also examined to deduce any selective reduction technology. Different measures and suggestions for selectively reducing phenol release in cigarette mainstream smoke were summarized from the aspects of tobacco production, regulation of phenolic precursors, tobacco blending and toxicant reduction technology. This review thus provides a reference source for reducing the phenol release in cigarette smoke and developing low-hazard cigarette products.
