烟粉粒径对加热卷烟专用稠浆法再造烟叶品质的影响

Effects of tobacco powder particle size on slurry processed reconstituted tobacco for electrically heated tobacco products

  • 摘要: 为考察不同粒径烟粉对电加热(eTHP)卷烟烟芯材料品质的影响,基于eTHP卷烟专用稠浆法再造烟叶实验平台制备了不同烟粉粒径180~380目(39~80 μm)稠浆法再造烟叶,采用扫描电镜对不同烟粉粒径稠浆法再造烟叶表面微观结构进行了表征,然后利用同步热分析仪对不同烟粉粒径稠浆法再造烟叶热失重特征进行分析,最后通过电子烟烟雾测试机定性分析不同烟粉粒径烟芯材料eTHP卷烟烟雾释放量。结果表明:①扫描电镜结果显示,烟粉粒径超过280目(52 μm)后,稠浆法再造烟叶具有烟粉颗粒分布均匀、微观结构致密的特征。②再造烟叶热失重特征表明(0~600 ℃),40~370 ℃温度是稠浆法再造烟叶的主要热失重温度段,在此温度段内再造烟叶质量损失超过50%。③再造烟叶加热过程中产生的烟雾量与烟粉粒径有关,粒径越小,烟雾量越大。

     

    Abstract: In order to investigate the influences of tobacco powders of different particle sizes on the quality of tobacco materials for electrically heated tobacco products (eHTPs), slurry processed reconstituted tobacco was prepared by using tobacco powders of different particle sizes (180-380 mesh, 39-80 μm) on a home-made slurry reconstitution experimental platform. The surface microstructure and thermo-gravimetric characteristics of the prepared reconstituted tobacco were characterized by scanning electron microscope and simultaneous thermal analyzer respectively. The amount of smoke released from eHTPs with tobacco materials made from tobacco powder of different particle sizes was qualitatively analyzed by an e-cigarette smoke analyzer. The results showed that: 1) When the tobacco powder particle size was larger than 280 mesh(52 μm), the reconstituted tobacco featured a uniform powder distribution and compact microstructure. 2) The thermal weight loss characteristics of the reconstituted tobacco was analyzed within the range of 0 to 600 ℃, and the major weight loss stage was from 40 to 370 ℃, reaching greater than 50%. 3) During heating, the amount of smoke released closely negatively correlated to the tobacco powder particle size, namely the amount increased with the decrease of the particle size.
