Abstract:
In order to promote the positioning accuracy of the existing transfer device for base rods of combined cavity filter rods, a base rod transfer device based on rotary plate positioning technology was designed. The device consisted of three rotary plates and a base, and it was able to transfer the base rods at high speed while keeping an equal space by means of tooth positioning. The designed device was tested on a YL22 filter rod maker by producing filter rods for slim cigarettes and those for conventional cigarettes. The results showed that under the stable production conditions, the optimal production speed for the two kinds of combined cavity filter rods was 150 m/min, the blockage frequency was less than 10 times per day, and the rate of accurate phase position reached 99.97%. This method provides a support for improving the forming quality and production efficiency of combined filter rods.
