烟草甲初孵幼虫耐饥饿能力及其对包装材料的钻透率

Starvation tolerance of newly hatched Lasioderma serricorne larvae and their penetration rates through different packaging materials

  • 摘要: 为明确烟草甲幼虫耐饥饿能力及其钻蛀行为,分析了不同温度条件下烟草甲初孵幼虫的耐饥饿能力,并进行了烟草甲幼虫对无纺布、铝箔纸、复合膜和牛皮纸等4种包装材料的钻蛀情况试验。结果表明:①不同处理温度对烟草甲初孵幼虫耐饥饿能力具有显著影响,环境温度越高,烟草甲初孵幼虫耐饥饿能力越差。在15 ℃和20 ℃时,烟草甲初孵幼虫耐饥时间可达到14 d以上,而45 ℃条件下,饥饿处理的烟草甲幼虫24 h内全部死亡。②烟草甲初孵幼虫无法通过钻蛀行为进入完好的牛皮纸、复合膜、铝箔纸和无纺布包装材料,但能够钻透孔径大于0.40 mm的牛皮纸、复合膜、铝箔纸和无纺布包装材料。因此,在生产中应保持包装材料的完整性,以阻止烟草甲的为害。

     

    Abstract: In order to determine the starvation tolerances and boring behaviors of newly hatched Lasioderma serricorne larvae, their starvation tolerances at different temperatures were analyzed. In addition, their penetration rates through four packaging materials(non-woven cloth, aluminum foil, composite film, and kraft paper)were also investigated. The results showed that: 1)Temperature had significant effects on the starvation tolerances of the newly hatched larvae. The higher the ambient temperature, the worse the starvation tolerances of L. serricorne larvae would be. At 15 or 20 ℃, the newly hatched larvae could survive over 14 days without food, and all the larvae died within 24 h at 45 ℃ without food. 2) L. serricorne larvae could not enter into sound kraft paper, composite film, aluminum foil and non-woven packaging materials, however they could bore through those packaging materials with small holes(> 0.40 mm in diameter). Therefore, the packaging materials should be kept sound to prevent the harm done by L. serricorne in practice.
