模拟电子烟烟液中丙二醇和丙三醇裂解形成小分子羰基物

Carbonyls from simulating pyrolysis of propylene glycol and glycerol in e-liquid

  • 摘要: 为模拟电子烟气溶胶中小分子羰基化合物的形成,分析了电子烟烟液的主要组成,采用裂解-气相色谱/质谱(Py-GC/MS)法考察了丙二醇和丙三醇在空气气氛下的主要裂解产物,探讨了裂解温度及含水率对丙二醇和丙三醇裂解形成小分子羰基物的影响。结果表明:①10种电子烟烟液中丙二醇、丙三醇和水的总量占烟液质量的86.5%~93.2%,含水率占烟液质量的10%以下。②随裂解温度升高,丙二醇和丙三醇裂解形成甲醛、乙醛、丙烯醛、丙醛和丙酮的产率逐渐增加; 而随含水率的增加,丙二醇和丙三醇裂解形成甲醛、乙醛、丙烯醛、丙醛和丙酮的产率呈先增加后逐渐降低趋势。

     

    Abstract: In order to simulate the formation of small carbonyl compounds in aerosols from e-cigarettes, the proportions of propylene glycol (PG), glycerol and water in e-liquid samples were analyzed, and the main pyrolysis products of PG and glycerol in air atmosphere were investigated by pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (Py-GC/MS). The effects of heating temperature and moisture content on the formation of small carbonyl compounds from pyrolysis of PG and glycerol were studied. The results showed that: 1) The total contents of PG, glycerol and moisture accounted for 86.5%-93.2% of the e-liquid mass of 10 e-cigarettes, wherein moisture content accounted for less than 10%. 2) The yields of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein, propanal, and acetone from pyrolysis of PG and glycerol increased gradually with the raise of temperature, and those increased first and then decreased gradually with the increase of moisture content.
