Abstract:
In order to study the influences of heating temperature on physical properties of aerosol from heated tobacco products (HTPs), an electric heating device with different heating temperatures was used in combination with an identical tobacco stick design. The results showed that: 1) Within 200-380 ℃, the particle number concentration, particle volume concentration and count median diameter (CMD) increased with the heating temperature. The geometric standard deviation (GSD) increased first and then decreased. 2) At the same heating temperature, particle number concentration, particle volume concentration, CMD and GSD of the aerosol were different on a puff-by-puff basis. 3) The puff-by-puff variation trends of particle number concentration, volume concentration and GSD of aerosol were basically the same at different heating temperatures, while there were differences in the puff-by-puff variation trend of CMD at different heating temperatures.
