Abstract:
In order to survey available analytical methods for pyrethroid pesticide residue analysis in tobacco, recent literature on pyrethroid pesticides were reviewed and systematic summarized. The results showed that: 1) The current methods mainly focused on sample pretreatment technologies, selection of analytical instruments and optimization of analytical conditions. 2) In terms of sample pretreatment techniques, the QuEChERS extraction combined with SPE column purification presented satisfactory results in the determination with various analytical instruments. 3) Gas chromatography was a universal analytical method with higher sensitivity but prone to interference. Gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry has been the main development direction with higher sensitivity and less interference. However, it is relatively expensive. Some other newly-developed analytical methods also have promising applications.
