Abstract:
To connect an ITM shoulder box packing machine to a cartoner, a cigarette packet turnover system was designed. The system was mainly composed of a horizontal packet turning device, a vertical packet turning device, a deflective pushing device and an L-shaped channel. Through the horizontal turning, vertical turning and deflecting pushing, the shoulder boxes coming out of the ITM packing machine horizontally were transferred to the cartoner vertically. The system was tested on cigarettes of brand "Chunxiang" in Xiamen Tobacco Industrial Limited Corporation. The results showed that the efficiency of the turnover system reached 97.7% and the appearance quality of cigarette packets met the technical requirements. This technology provides a support for promoting the production efficiency and packing quality of cigarette packing lines.
