Abstract:
In order to clarify the current status of research on tobacco metabolome, bibliometrics and CiteSpace information visualization software were used to analyze the literature on tobacco metabolome in the databases of CNKI and Web of Science, based on the numbers, affiliations and citation frequencies of published papers, cooperative relationships, research priorities and fronts. The results showed that: 1) The total number of published papers on tobacco metabolome was limited, however it presented a significantly increasing trend. 2) The cooperation and exchanges between countries and affiliations were very close. Most of the published papers were contributed from America and China, while the quality of German literature was higher. 3) Fiehn and Anders had higher academic influences in this field. 4) The research on tobacco metabolome mainly included aspects such as gene expression, metabolic pathway, biosynthesis, tobacco resistance and combination of multiomics. In the future, the metabolomics related to tobacco resistance as well as tobacco and public health will become research hotspots.
