Abstract:
Numerical simulation provides modeling and visualization methods for studying and solving complex engineering and physical problems through numerical calculation and image display by computer, and has been widely used in tobacco research with the advantages of economy, intuition and science. The numerical simulation methods and computer engineering software commonly used in the field of tobacco were summarized, and the specific applications of numerical simulation were reviewed from three aspects: tobacco agriculture, tobacco industry and cigarette combustion process. In view of the current problems in the development of numerical simulation, the independent researches on programmed algorithms and the studies on the basic theories of algorithms should be strengthened and various scientific methods such as genetic algorithm should be also adopted while constructing models in the future, thereby numerical simulation can better solve the complex engineering problems in the field of tobacco and promote the transformation of tobacco industry towards efficiency, intelligence and cleanliness.
