Abstract:
In order to clarify the occurrence of weeds in cigar tobacco fields of Laifeng County and provide measures for weed control, the types, occurrence regularity and community characteristics of the weeds were investigated by a sampling method and spot survey method. Results showed that there were 79 species from 32 families of weeds during tobacco cultivation, among which there were 38 species of hygrophilous weeds accounting for 48.10% of the total. Through the analysis of the relative abundance of the weeds at three stages, a total of 11 dominant weeds were considered to be the key for the weed control in cigar tobacco fields, including
Alternanthera philoxeroides,
Eleusine indica,
Cyperus iria,
Acalypha australis,
Digitaria sanguinalis,
Oenanthe javanica,
Artemisia annua,
Pouzolzia zeylanica,
Echinochloa colona,
Arthraxon hispidus,
Polygonum nepalense. The similarity coefficients of weed communities in the cigar tobacco fields in Laifeng County and 15 other regions in 9 Chinese provinces were below 0.50, which indicated their significant differences.
