Abstract:
Waste tipping paper sheets might induce cigarette defects even machine stop. A waste tipping paper sheet collecting device was designed for ZJ17 filter cigarette maker. The device is composed of a guide unit, a one-way collection channel, a collection chamber, and a conveying channel. The guide unit guides the waste tipping paper sheets generated by tipping paper cutting drum into the one-way collection channel, wherein positive pressure air flow changes its direction and velocity through a T-shaped pipeline and forms a negative pressure air flow to draw the waste tipping paper sheets into the collection chamber. Finally, the waste tipping paper sheets are sent into a bin by way of the conveying channel under the action of positive pressure air flow. The results of an orthogonal test demonstrated that the optimal design parameters are the air pressure in one-way collection channel 0.6 MPa, the air pressure in collection chamber 0.4 MPa, the diameter of guide roller 8 mm, and the diameter of conveying channel 80 mm. The device was tested on a ZJ17 filter cigarette maker in Bijie Cigarette Factory, the results showed that the frequency of cigarette with tipping defects caused by waste tipping paper sheet reduced from 18.2 to 1.3 times per month, with a decrease of 92.9%. The downtime of machine reduced from 7.6 to 1.0 hour per month, with a decrease of 86.3%. This technology provides support for promoting the production efficiency of filter cigarette making machine.
