Abstract:
In order to reduce the coefficient of variation (CV) in chemical indexes of tobacco strips under flat warehouse condition and to promote the leaf homogenization during tobacco threshing and redrying, a method based on the combined control technology of chemical indexes and apparent characteristics of tobacco leaves was studied. The chemical indexes and apparent characteristics of tobacco leaves were collected using a portable near-infrared spectrometer and an on-line color detection system. Through the homogenization distribution algorithm model based on the absorption domain, the tobacco leaf warehousing was controlled, and the tobacco leaves were successively retrieved according to the homogenization channel. The homogenization effect based on the combined control of chemical indexes and apparent characteristics was analyzed. The results showed that the CV of nicotine, total nitrogen, total sugar, reducing sugar and other chemical indexes of the processed tobacco strips decreased, the CV of nicotine and total nitrogen decreased from 4.31% to 3.31% and from 2.81% to 1.77%, respectively, and the average CV of chemical indexes decreased by 25.52%.
