Abstract:
In order to solve the problems such as gluing nozzle damage, higher percentage of cigarette seam-open, and time-consuming maintenance work, a gluing system with linear guide was designed for the YJ116B cigarette maker, wherein a solenoid valve-controlled air cylinder drives a sliding block together with the base block of a glue gun to move forward and backward along a linear guide. When the glue gun approaches to or leaves from the working position, the positions of the glue nozzle relative to the cigarette paper and the side plate of the garniture can be adjusted. The new gluing system was tested on a ZJ116B filter cigarette maker in Jinan Cigarette Factory. The results showed that the number of glue nozzle damage in YJ116B cigarette maker, the frequency of gluing system maintenance due to cigarette seam-open and the maintenance time of glue gun decreased by 83.3%, about 78.7% and 62.7%, respectively. This technology can help reduce the consumption of spare parts and improve the production efficiency of filter cigarette makers.
