烟草废料过热水蒸气蒸馏-干馏制备烟用香料

Preparation of tobacco flavors from tobacco waste by integrating superheated steam distillation and cracking technique

  • 摘要: 为了解决烟草废料的综合利用问题,研究以水蒸气蒸馏(SD)、溶剂萃取(SE)后的晾晒烟废烟叶为原料,采用过热水蒸气蒸馏-干馏集成技术(SSD-CP)制备烟用香料,对其得率、化学组成、香气进行比较评价,并对其化学组成与香气的构效关系进行研究。结果表明:①以未提取的、水蒸气蒸馏后的及溶剂萃取后的3种晾晒烟废料为原料,烟用香料的平均得率分别为11.36%、10.33%和9.36%;3种烟用香料的香气特征均以烤香、焦甜香为主,将其应用于低焦油卷烟可显著提升抽吸品质。②以水蒸气蒸馏后的、溶剂萃取后的晾晒烟废料为原料,烟用香料的得率略低于未提取的晾晒烟原料,但远高于直接以晾晒烟为原料采用水蒸气蒸馏(0.11%)、溶剂萃取(1.29%)等常规方法提取的得率,且可达到增强烤香和烟气的效果。

     

    Abstract: To comprehensively utilize tobacco waste, wasted air-cured and sun-cured tobacco leaves extracted by steam distillation (SD) and solvent extraction (SE) were used as the raw materials to prepare tobacco flavors by integrating superheated steam distillation and cracking process (SSD-CP). The yields, chemical compositions and aroma of three prepared tobacco flavor complexes were compared and evaluated, and the structure-activity relationships between the chemical compositions and aroma were also investigated. The results showed that: 1) The mean yields of tobacco flavors prepared from non-extracted air-cured and sun-cured tobacco and wasted air-cured and sun-cured tobacco leaves extracted by SD and SE were 11.36%, 10.33% and 9.36%, respectively. The aroma characteristics of the three tobacco flavors were mainly roasted and burnt sweet, and their application in low-tar cigarettes significantly improved the smoking quality. 2) The yields of the tobacco flavors prepared from the wasted air-cured and sun-cured tobacco leaves extracted by SD and SE were slightly lower than those of the non-extracted air-cured and sun-cured tobacco material, but much higher than those of the air-cured and sun-cured tobacco leaves directly extracted by steam distillation (0.11%), solvent extraction (1.29%) and other conventional methods. In summary, the tobacco flavors prepared from the air-cured and sun-cured tobacco leaf waste extracted by SD and SE could enhance the roasted aroma and smoke for cigarettes.
