Effects of coniferous softwood fiber and carboxymethyl cellulose contents on rheological properties of slurry processed reconstituted tobacco sheets

  • 摘要: 为明确针叶木纤维及羧甲基纤维素(Carboxymethyl cellulose,CMC)含量对稠浆法再造烟叶浆料流变特性的影响,对不同针叶木纤维及CMC含量下浆料的黏度、黏弹性及触变性进行测试和分析。结果表明:①稠浆法再造烟叶浆料属于剪切稀化流体,针叶木纤维及CMC含量的增加,均会使浆料的黏度有所上升。针叶木纤维含量越多,浆料的剪切稀化特性越强,CMC含量越多,浆料的剪切稀化特性越弱。②随着针叶木纤维含量的增加,浆料趋向于黏弹性固体;随着CMC含量的增加,浆料趋向于黏弹性液体。③随着针叶木纤维含量的增加,浆料在布料过程中的流动性减弱,储能模量恢复百分比逐渐增大;随着CMC含量的增加,浆料在布料过程中的流动性增强,储能模量恢复百分比呈先增大后减小的变化趋势。

     

    Abstract: To clarify the effects of coniferous softwood fiber and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) contents on the rheological properties of slurry processed reconstituted tobacco sheets, the viscosity, viscoelasticity and thixotropy of slurries made with different contents of coniferous softwood fiber and CMC were tested and analyzed. The results showed that: 1) The slurry processed reconstituted tobacco sheets was formed by the shear-thinning fluids. As the contents of coniferous softwood fiber and CMC increased, the slurry's viscosity gradually increased. The higher the content of the coniferous softwood fiber, the more pronounced the shear-thinning characteristics of the prepared tobacco slurry. Conversely, the higher the CMC content, the less pronounced the shear-thinning characteristics of the prepared slurry. 2) As the coniferous softwood fiber content increased, the slurry tended to behave as a viscoelastic solid. Conversely, as the CMC content increased, the slurry behaved more like a viscoelastic liquid. 3) As the coniferous softwood fiber content increased, the fluidity of the slurry during the spreading process decreased and the storage modulus recovery rate increased. However, as the CMC content increased, the fluidity of the slurry during the spreading process increased, and the storage modulus recovery rate first increased and then decreased.
