Method for inspecting wrinkle defects in soft cigarette packets based on spectral confocal technology

  • 摘要: 为实现软盒卷烟透明纸褶皱的检测和褶皱程度的定量分析,设计了一种基于光谱共焦技术的软盒卷烟透明纸缺陷检测系统。该系统利用光谱共焦传感器构建了软盒卷烟透明纸的三维形貌,并采用随机采样一致性算法(RANSAC)进行点云分割与褶皱区域提取,建立了评价透明纸褶皱状况(褶皱率和褶皱强度)的数学模型。结果表明:①透明玻璃片及金属片标准件测量结果的相对误差均小于1%,10次测量结果的相对标准偏差(RSD)均小于1%。②市售15种不同牌号软盒卷烟透明纸褶皱率的波动范围为4%~24%,褶皱强度波动范围为0.02~0.48,不同牌号软盒卷烟透明纸包装质量存在较大差异。该方法为软盒卷烟透明纸包装质量的评价提供了一种全新的数字化工具。

     

    Abstract: To detect and quantitative evaluate wrinkles in the film of soft cigarette packets, a film defect inspection system based on spectral confocal technology was designed. The designed system used a spectral confocal sensor to construct the three-dimensional morphology of the packet film, and adopts the random sample consensus(RANSAC)algorithm for accurate point cloud segmentation and wrinkle region extraction. A mathematical model was then developed to evaluate the wrinkle status, including wrinkle rate and wrinkle intensity. The results showed that: 1)The relative error of measurements of standard components of transparent glass and metal sheets were all below 1%, with the relative standard deviation (RSD) of 10 repeated measurements also below 1%. 2) The inspection results of 15 commercially available cigarette brands in soft packets showed that their wrinkle rates varied between 4% and 24%, while the wrinkle intensity ranged from 0.02 to 0.48. There was a large variation in the quality of the film packaging of different brands of soft cigarette packets. This method provides a new digital nondestructive tool for evaluating the film packaging quality of soft cigarette packets.
