Abstract:
To prevent glue, tobacco dust and tipping paper from building up on the surface of the rolling drum in filter assembler, a cleaning device was designed. The designed device is composed of a bracket, an air supply module, a retractable cleaning arm and a self-adaptive flexible cleaning device. An intelligent control system is used for automatic control and full lifecycle monitoring of consumable parts. The retractable cleaning arm is installed above the rolling drum through a dual-cylinder and dual-arm mechanism to drive the self-adaptive flexible cleaning device vertically. A "cylindrical end cam+roller" mechanism is adopted to carry out the cleaning motion of "rotation+reciprocation", and further, the notched working surface of the rolling drum is cleaned by a high-pressure air jet device. The designed device was tested on "Hongtashan" brand cigarettes in Chuxiong Cigarette Factory. The results showed that the cleaning device decreased the rate of cigarettes with defective tipping from 0.012% to 0.001% and the number of machine shutdown per month due to rolling drum cleaning reduced to 29 times from 114, showing a reduction of 74.6%. This technology provides support for improving the appearance quality of cigarettes and enhancing the equipment operating efficiency.
