Abstract:
To investigate the soil fertility distribution in Gannan tobacco growing area and scientifically guide their soil improvement and fertilization plans, 211 tobacco growing soil samples from Gannan tobacco-growing area were studied, and 13 indicators including soil bulk density, pH value and organic matter were measured. Based on the construction of a comprehensive soil fertility evaluation system for the area, corresponding weights were obtained using the analytic hierarchy process, entropy method, and game theory weighting method, and a comprehensive soil integrated fertility index (
IFI) was computed for each plot using a fuzzy mathematical model, and the accuracy of the
IFI values was verified through unit area leaf yield and leaf sensory quality evaluation. The results showed that: 1) Among soil fertility indicators in the area, contents of clay, effective phosphorus and exchangeable magnesium were relatively high, while content of readily available potassium was relatively low. All other indicators were within the appropriate standards. Values of water-soluble chlorine, effective phosphorus, available potassium, exchangeable calcium and exchangeable magnesium showed greater dispersion. 2) There were significant differences in various indicators among the 8 industrial counties (cities, districts). 3. The average pH value of the Gannan tobacco growing area was 5.53, with Ganxian District, Ningdu County, Huichang County, and Shicheng County all below 5.50. The proportion of water-soluble chlorine content exceeding 30 mg/kg reached 32.23%. 3) Compared with different weighting methods, the game theory-based weighting method improved the linear fitting accuracy of
IFI with tobacco output value and sensory quality evaluation by more than 5.07% and 26.71%, respectively. 4) The average
IFI of the areas was 0.625. Xinfeng County (0.586) and Anyuan County (0.541) met the medium standard, and the other 6 producing areas met the good standard. Overall, soil fertility in the Gannan tobacco growing area met the demand for high-yield and high-quality tobacco production. The overall fertilization plan should focus on regulating soil pH to prevent further acidification, strictly controlling the use of chlorine fertilizer, and supplementing potassium fertilizer appropriately in Ganxian District, Xinfeng County, Anyuan County, Huichang County, and Ruijin City.
