Abstract:
To comprehensively and objectively evaluate the quality and stability of online laser perforation for slim cigarettes, a high-precision laser scanning technique was employed to obtain seven key indicators, such as hole length, hole width, hole depth, upper surface area, internal surface area, perforation distance from the mouth end, and filter ventilation rate. The efficacy coefficient method was applied to quantify scores for each indicator, and the CRITIC objective weighting method was used to determine the weight of each indicator, thereby establishing a comprehensive evaluation method for online laser perforation quality of slim cigarettes. The results show that this evaluation method can effectively quantify the perforation quality of different brands of slim cigarettes. Among them, Brand C achieved the highest average comprehensive score with the smallest standard deviation, demonstrating excellent perforation quality and process stability. A significant positive correlation was observed between the average comprehensive perforation quality score and the filter ventilation qualification rate (
R2=0.976), while a strong nonlinear negative correlation was found between the standard deviation of the comprehensive score and the process capability index PPK (
R2=0.986). The comprehensive perforation quality evaluation method established in this study can objectively assess the online laser perforation quality of slim cigarettes and provide effective support for process optimization and process quality control.
