Abstract: In line with the development of primary processing technology, a modular type air-conditioned silo was developed for on-line tobacco material storing during primary processing.The silo featured two new functions: 1) capable of regulating the temperature and humidity inside the silo independently to(create an) atmosphere suitable for stored material;2) obviously reducing the energy consumption for air(conditioning) in tobacco storage area in primary department.
