Abstract: The original cigarette-end detector for loose-end and filter-missing detection negatively affected cigarette surface, and usually had higher misrejecting rate.After the detection was changed from contact capacitance detecting to non-contact infrared, the precision of on-line detecting improved, and cigarette misrejecting was avoided.
