Abstract: The status quo of nicotine determining in tobacco and tobacco products with high performance liquid chromatography, including modes of reversed phase and ion-pair, sample extracting and assistant technology, and purification, were reviewed.It was believed that the study of fast, stable and environment- friendly mass samples preparing methods should be strengthened.
