Abstract: A new modular pneumatic conveying system for filter rod comprising hopper, ejector, speed stabilizer, pneumatic manifold and independent electric control system was designed. The working principle of ejector was introduced, and the air distribution process of ejector, falling and ejecting process of filter rod, the working principle of speed stabilizer, and design of the electric control system were discussed. Moreover, an automatic trouble shooting mechanism was added in the device.
