Abstract: The application of supercritical carbon dioxide extraction in the extraction of nicotine, solanesol and tobacco essence, improvement of tobacco quality, and analysis of chemical compositions in tobacco were reviewed, and the future application of supercritical carbon dioxide in tobacco industry was put forward.
