Abstract: The workflow and operation of a cut tobacco storage bin system were introduced.The system was composed of bin filling, conveying, storing, tipping, and managing stations.The filling modes included:blending silo and single bin two-position bin filling, small blending silo or a reservoir feeder and single bin two-position mixed filling, or filling lined up bins.The storing forms included single or double bins, high-rack warehouse, and lined up bins.The tipping devices included articulated robot, frame robot, movable tipper, and hydraulic tipper.The structure, form, information memory on storing appliances and two assistant facilities were discussed in detail.The system features high flexibility in cut tobacco storing and supplying, it was a more ideal way for cut tobacco storing in cigarette factory for the time being.
