Abstract: The displacement of cigarette dense-end position would increase the number of loose-end cigarette.The factors causing displacement of dense-end position included the change of blend or physical character of filler, big ecreteur backlash, suction band slipping, and etc.However, the key factor was the higher resistance of suction chamber guide or tongue against filler.By using ultrasonic vibration to reduce the resistance, the problem was pretty well resolved.
