Abstract: The type selection, maintenance, and versatility of parts and assemblies of auxiliary machinery in primary processing line updating were discussed with practical examples.Economy, labour protection, and reliability should be considered in machine type selection;the machine should be simple in maintenance and convenient in failure treatment;the parts and assemblies should be of high versatility or exchangeability to achieve the aim of simple management and high economic benefit.
