Abstract: By analyzing the demand and developing trend of tobacco primary processing line, the flexible manufacturing technology and processing mode in tobacco primary processing line were put forward. Traditional, semi-flexible (grouping processing) and flexible primary processing lines were compared and analyzed.The three subsystems (processing system, logistic system, and control &management system) of flexible primary processing system and their functions were emphatically discussed.It was considered that flexible manufacturing would be one of the important modes of tobacco primary processing in future.
