Abstract:
The Cr, Ni, As, Se, Cd, Hg and Pb in 85 tobacco samples from five major production areas of Chinawere simultaneously determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) with microwave digestion. The results showed that:1) the recoveries of these heavy elements were in the range of 96.34% to 106.7% with the RSD of 1.41%-9.78% and the limits of detection were from 7.974-147.8ng/L;2) the contents of these elements between different cultivars and production areas differed significantly, while those between different stalk positions did not for the same cultivar.
