Abstract:
Aiming at the problems involved in strips casing such as small tobacco pieces adhered to the wall of casing cylinder, nonuniform strips casing and wide fluctuation of output moisture content, the mesh of vibrating screen in front of the feeder was enlarged from 6mm to 12.5mm, the particles under 12.5mm bypassed the cylinder and directly mixed with cased strips (≥12.5mm) came out of the cylinder and entered into bulking silos. The results indicated that, after improving, the qualified output moisture content rate increased from 95%±1% to 99%±1%, and standard deviation decreased from 0.22%-0.35% to 0.11%-0.20%. The tobacco pieces adhered to the wall of casing cylinder dropped from 32.5kg to 15kg per batch (6000kg tobacco), and the casing spots on lamina were basically avoided. The processing quality was improved and the waste was also reduced.
