Abstract:
In order to improve the processing quality of cut stem and reduce the waste during stem processing, the optimal technical parameter range for new domestic rake type stem dipping machine was determined, and the effects of three processing methods, including stem dipping (SD), stem washing steaming (SWS) and twice stem storing (TSS), on the processing quality and waste of cut stem were comparatively experimented. The results showed that the SD was obviously superior to SWS and TSS in quality improving and waste reducing. The optimal processing parameters for the stem dipping machine were that the stem was dipped in water of 60℃ for 50s, and then stored for 4 hours; and the frequency for rake conveyor motor was 24Hz.
