Abstract: The reason of the pack pusher failed to arrive at right position in bottom fold cigarette packer was investigated through analyzing the motion of pack pusher, it was found that the input angle and limit position of crank mechanism were not coincident with the technical requirement. By adjusting the length of the follower lever in the cam mechanism and the swing angle of the folder, enabled the practical input angle and limit position of the crank identical with the theoretical value necessary for the pack pusher to arrive at right position. This adjustment maintains the original machine design unchanged and is easy to be carried out.
