Abstract:
Basing on soil nutrient database and the platform of GIS and GPS, the spatial distribution of soil nutrients in tobacco growing area in Sanmenxia, Henan, was studied. The results showed that organic matter was deficient throughout the area and available phosphorus was moderate and lower, and available nitrogen was lower in southwest Sanmenxia. The proposal for adequate fertilization in this area was increasing the application of nitrogen, phosphorus, boron and zinc, reducing that of chlorine, while keeping the application of potassium at normal level.
