Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy in cigarette picking, a tower type automatic cigarette picker based on Profibus-DP was designed, the makeup and software design of this system were introduced. The system featured flexible configuration, simple structure, convenient operation and maintenance, and was suitable for small or middle scale cigarette distribution center.
